CONNECT
What one thought stood out the most to you from Sunday’s sermon?

Did your perspective change as to the purpose of singing and praying as a body of believers together in a worship service?

ENGAGE
Read 2 Chronicles 20:1-30.
What impresses you about Jehoshaphat’s leadership as king?
When has God done battle for you when you have set your eyes on Him? (v. 12 and v. 15)
Have you ever experienced the Spirit move on a body of believers, however large or small? (v. 14)

Read Acts 16: 16-34

Have you ever prayed and sung hymns despite your circumstances? (v. 25)
Where currently in life do you belief that you are doing battle against flesh and blood instead of your enemies in the heavenly realm?  How can you refocus and put your eyes on God’s faithfulness and goodness in your life instead?

APPLY
Sing a song of praise or a hymn together before you leave this evening.
Pray for one another to keep a melody in your hearts and praise on your lips this week no matter what the circumstance.
