DAY 1: PERSONAL PRAYER: PRAISING GOD
“The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Day to day pour forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.” –Psalm 19:1-2
As we begin our 31 Days of Prayer together, spend today praising God for His splendor and majesty and dedicating this next month of prayers to His glory. Praise Him for His beautiful creation that surrounds us, which is a visual testimony of His goodness towards us. Be reminded that He loves us with an everlasting love, even though we do not deserve it based on our own merits, but because of His abundant faithfulness, grace, and mercy.
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; what is man that You take thought of him, and the son of man that you care for him?”—Psalm 8:3-4
