Who are
we?
ClearView is a community of Christ-followers committed
to the word of God revealed by His Holy Spirit…Serving God wherever
He Leads.
“Love the Lord your God with all your
heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with
all your mind and Love your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27
Why are we here?
We see God leading us to love Him
• By honoring, studying and presenting His Word,
honestly and sincerely.
• Through sincere, honest, heartfelt worship.
• By seeking relationships with Him, and helping young and old
to do the same.
• By acknowledging our faults with true repentance.
• By being open to Him to change our lives and lead us, individually
and corporately.
• Through our prayer, personal and corporate.
We see God leading us to love our neighbor
• By offering a Christ centered worship service
and ministry to all with no formal membership.
• To actively seek out and help those with needs, physical, emotional
and spiritual.
• By sharing what God has given us with those who have less.
• By reaching out to the community and the world personally, and
through mission support.
….as ourselves
• By continually receiving God’s healing and
love in our lives.
• Through engaging relationships that are healthy and Christ centered.
• To actively seek Christ’s identity and call in our lives.
• Pursuing freedom through Christ from our addictions and sinful
cycles.
Our History
ClearView Community Church was started in 1995
by Bill and Marilyn Swegart. They had a vision to start a church
that would not be hindered by many of the rules and traditions
often found in Christianity. Their heart was for a church that
would be focused on the Word of God, caring for one-another and
reaching the community. Their first planning service was held
at Trail West Lodge in Buena Vista with 45 people. From that point
the church has grown and moved locations until, in 2003, the church
out -grew the building they were renting and decided to build
the current facility. The church has grown to more than 250 families.
God has blessed this simple non-legalistic approach to the gospel
in many ways.
