At ClearView we believe that
the children are the life and future of the church. We try to
minister to the children in a way that is fun and exciting while
making sure they have a strong Biblical foundation to build their
faith on. In our Sunday school classes children are given a safe
environment where they can learn and be loved. Every class begins
with prayer and children share their requests and how they have
seen God answer prayers in their lives. They pray for each other
and practice reaching out to their friends and sharing Christ’s
love and compassion with them. Scripture memory is also a vital
part of each class as the children learn to “hide God’s word in
their hearts.”
Our children’s programs are Sunday mornings
at 9:00 am. We offer nursery for infants through 3 years of
age. Children PreK through 5th grade participate in one of three
Sunday school programs.
Kingdom Kids
Preschool and Kindergarten
(Children are dismissed to class from the 9:00 am worship service)
Kingdom Kids is a fun Sunday school program
for preschoolers and kindergarteners. They begin to learn the
basics of the Christian faith through Bible stories, songs,
games and crafts. They are given practical ways to begin to
learn to apply God’s principals to their own lives.
Glory Group
1st and 2nd Grade
(Children are dismissed to class from the 9:00 am worship service)
In Glory Group children begin to dig a little
deeper into God’s word with Scripture memory, Bible stories,
songs, games and crafts. This age group is beginning to encounter
other people in their lives who do not know Jesus as their savior
and these children are excited to strengthen their own faith
and learn how to be Christ-like examples to those around them.
Christ’s Corner
3rd through 5th Grade
(Children are dismissed to class from the 9:00 am worship service)
Christ’s Corner is a unique Sunday school experience
for 3rd through 5th graders. Through small groups, drama, puppets,
and crafts they are immersed in a different Bible story every
6 weeks. The children participate in building the Biblical environment
in their classroom each week. This class gives them a sense
of how exciting the Bible is and teaches them how to apply these
lessons to their daily lives.
