Zach, his wife Catherine and their 4 kids, Anna, Isaac, Noah and Joseph live an abundant life of adventure and laughter! Zach was once in a punk band years ago, but thankfully, he grew out of that phase. He’s been at ClearView since 2001, serving the church in many different roles. Now, as Senior Pastor, he loves to see people fall in love with Jesus and experience the joy of serving Him.
Congregational Care Pastor
Tom and his wife Julie have three children: Sarah, Allison, and Nathan. Tom has served in three churches in various capacities and loves being back in Colorado in his role of Pastor of Congregational Care. His favorite part of ministry is listening to people’s stories of brokenness and helping them find Jesus the way he found Jesus in his brokenness, long after he was saved at the age of 6! Tom loves fishing, steak dinners, and golden retrievers, and he is amazed he gets to serve Jesus at ClearView in such a great community as Buena Vista.
Brandon Chism and his fiancé Lindsay Aldridge recently moved from Chicago, IL. Brandon served at The Moody Church in Chicago for 11 years where he focused on team building, worship leading, and directing the arts ministry. He studied bassoon performance at Moody Bible Institute and theological studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Brandon has a passion for developing a worship culture centered on the Word (Col. 3:16) and bringing all generations together in song. He loves hiking and hopes to complete all 54 14ers in Colorado! Lindsay is a counselor and an incredible artist.
Franci and her husband, Gary, have 3 daughters and 1 son who are incredible, but let’s be honest, their 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter have stolen their hearts! In Franci’s spare time, she loves to hike, garden in her greenhouse, and show her Norwegian Elk Hound, Adele! If she could wake up tomorrow with a new talent, she’d want to play the piano really well or be able to paint beautiful pictures! Maybe one of her first paintings would be of something she loves most: a good sunrise! If you want to stop by the church one day & make Franci’s day, just bring her a few pieces of dark chocolate!
Ben and his wife, Julie, love doing youth ministry together! When Ben isn’t hanging out with middle school & high school kids, he’s tearing it up on a mountain…and potentially tearing up his body in the process. Ben mountain bikes so hardcore that sometimes he even flies over his handlebars. Yikes! Hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, climbing, and anything else you can do in the wilderness is where you’ll find Ben in his free time. He also has many hidden talents like wood-working, interior decorating & pizza creations (Little Ben’s Pizza!).
Julie married Ben in 2000, but they’ve been sweethearts since 1991! They have three beautiful children, Malachi, Mikayla & Sylvia, and three mischievous pets. Building relationships with kids, watching them grow in Christ and working alongside her husband all make Julie come alive. She’s always up for coffee, chai and anything outdoors! She was high school valedictorian AND Most Popular…but also the only graduate of her high school class. We think Julie is more than deserving of both of those accolades…and MANY more!
Small Group Coordinator
Sharon grew up in the cities of the South but moved to the mountains of Colorado after meeting her husband, Bob, 40 years ago. They raised their 3 adult children here on their cattle ranch, along with a few lambs, hogs, and 4-H steers that their kids all showed at the county fair. Their family has now expanded to include one son-in-law and their 5 year old grandson. Armed with the gift of hospitality and the love of cooking, Sharon knows no stranger and would have everyone gathered around her table if you could all fit! When not outdoors hiking, biking, or gardening, you can find Sharon indoors creating the next small group to share life and rich fellowship together, along with a lot of laughter and a good cup of coffee.
Sutton probably says the word “y’all” a bit too much. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Sutton is a Texas native, but a lover of Colorado. Her involvement with Young Life initially brought her to Buena Vista during the summer of 2004. She has returned to BV every year since then, but finally packed up the U-Haul and moved here after the summer of 2014. Sutton has an odd obsession with fun fonts, handwritten letters and good coffee! She also works at Trail West Young Life camp.
