DAY 20: OUR COMMUNITY: HEALTH WORKERS

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”—Isaiah 41:10

Pray for those by name that are in the medical field: doctors, nurses, physician’s assistants, office staff, lab technicians, and first responders who are exposed daily to the coronavirus.  Pray for physical, mental, and spiritual protection as they care for those that have the virus as well as those who are suffering in other ways physically.  Pray for each one to be a shining light of faith and hope in Jesus in an arena that is filled with fear.  And pray for enough PPE to be supplied for their own safety as well as equipment needed for the patients.

“Prayer is both conversation and encounter with God…We must know the awe of praising his glory, the intimacy of finding his grace, and the struggle of asking his help, all of which can lead us to know the spiritual reality of his presence.”—Timothy Keller
