DAY 9: OUR CHURCH BODY: A CITY ON A HILL
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; Let you light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”—Matthew 5: 14, 16
John 8:12 tells us that Jesus is the light of the world and that we will not walk in darkness if we have the light of life within us. Pray that this light that flows through us will bring hope and healing to those around us and glorify God as we serve Him in our church and in our community. Like the new morning sun, may His light disperse the darkness and open the eyes of those who are spiritually blind to His abundant and overflowing grace.
