Prayer is our connection to our Father! We cannot survive without constant communication with Him. The Bible tells us to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). We believe that prayer is one of the most powerful ministries of the body of Christ and that God does great things when we gather together to pray for each other.
We have a prayer chain e-mail that is sent out to a few hundred praying people in our congregation. If you have a prayer request that you’d like to be sent out on our chain, please click the “Request a Prayer” button below & type out your prayer request.
As we are enjoying warmer weather and beginning to gather again on a limited basis, we would like to invite you to sign up for 31 Days of Prayer in July. We are asking you to commit to pray 10-15 minutes a day as you sit inside or walk or drive your neighborhood outside. You will be sent a daily email with scripture and a focus for this time before the Lord as we pray for ourselves, our neighbors, our community and beyond. You can do this on your own or ask a friend or two to walk and pray with you. We are looking forward to uniting in prayer with you as a body of believers during this summer month.

Each day during the month of July, you will receive an email with a bible verse and a theme for praying for that day. We are asking for a 5-10 minute commitment daily to pray for ourselves, our church, our community, our nation, and our world.
You can do this in the privacy of your own home or as you walk or drive your neighborhood. You can do this alone or with another person or two. The principal is simple: God speaks to us through His word, so prayer is as much listening as it is talking to God. That’s why we will begin each email with a scripture verse or two to get you started in your conversation with God.
Then, let us know what is happening along the way during this daily journey. You will be able to respond/comment by hitting the button at the bottom of each of the emails.
The verse to sustain us throughout is Acts 1:8: “but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotes part of the earth.” –Acts 1:8. Following this format, pray as the Spirit leads you, first for yourself and your neighbors, then for your community, your state, nation, and the world. Be specific with names wherever you can.
