For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge;
The fowler’s snare serves as a metaphor for danger from human enemies and pestilence as danger to life from disease. I feel this is very appropriate during this time of the Covid-19 virus that has spread throughout the world.
