Where is the most beautiful place you have ever been?  What was your reaction to that place? After being there do you dream about it or desire to go back? Why or why not?

How do you picture Heaven or how did you picture heaven?

Engage:
Read Ephesians 2:1-9 and Revelation 21
Is there anything in these passages that you are curious about or wonder about?

What does this look like for the future as we read these verses?
Zach talked about Heaven will make all things new. What excites you about hearing that He will make all things new? What events/ situations are you looking to be new?
Zach talked about 4 things
1. being loved and the beloved: 1 Corinthians 13:12 MSG says
12 We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears, and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!

How does that make you feel to know that you will see it all clearly?

2. Perfect bodies – 1 Cor 15:32-55 read in the message
How does that excite you knowing we will have perfect bodies?

3. Unimaginable beauty – Rev.21:15-21 When this talks about Heaven – How do you view this verse?

4. What life will be like with God – Rev 21:24 By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,
Which one of these is the most comforting to you

H ow does the promise of Heaven help you personally in your struggles.

Is there a song that helps you through the hard time if so what is it?

Why does worship help us through the hard places?

Dane Ortland said in Gentle and Lowly, “So that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus”—what does that mean, for those in Christ? It means that one day God is going to walk us through the wardrobe into Narnia, and we will stand there, paralyzed with joy, wonder, astonishment, and relief.”
When you read this what rises in you with statement?
