And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
We took one of our granddaughters to visit a farm and came upon this very Seuss-like creature. You can see the wonder on her face as she examines this specimen up close. I love the colors of her hat and coat contrasted with the nearby fur. I found this quote by Katrina Mayer that relates beautifully: “There’s joy and wonder everywhere when you see the world through the eyes of a child.”
