Women, join us for our next Women’s Bible Study beginning Tuesday, March 17th from 9-11am or Thursday, March 19thfrom 6:30-8pm. This will be a 7 week study on Gideon: Your weakness, God’s Strength by Priscilla Shirer.
This study will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. In what ways do you feel insufficient? Those places create the greatest opportunity to experience the sufficiency of God. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, see them as the gifts that they are, given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of God’s strength.
Childcare will be available upon request, cost TBD. Please sign up at the Info Table, Online or call the church office at 395-3120.
I’m very excited for our next season of Worship Choir, participating in the worship services on Easter Sunday April 12! For those who are newer, this is becoming a bi-annual tradition for us here at ClearView, and I hope you’ll consider joining us!
As always, this is a SHORT TERM commitment. We’ll have five 1-hour rehearsals (see schedule below). Attendance at rehearsals is very important and my request is that if you participate, you prioritize these 5 hours of rehearsal time this winter/spring. However, of course we know that life happens and many will need to miss a week here or there, so if that happens, don’t let that deter you from participating!
The Worship Choir is approached in a gospel choir format, with basic parts being taught at each rehearsal.
Please RSVP and let me know your plans, whether yes or no. I hope it’s a yes! Here is the schedule:
FOUR THURSDAYS, 8:00-9:00pm
March 5, 19, and 26
ONE SATURDAY, 10:00-11:00am with the Band
April 11 (day before Easter)
SING IN MORNING SERVICES:
Sunday April 12, Easter Sunday [full morning schedule forthcoming]
*NOTE* – The morning schedule will work around the river walk service early that morning, so you can participate in both.
I’ll have more information soon about the music and such. Let’s make this the biggest worship choir yet!
Save the Date for VBS Rocky Railway, June 22-26, 2020! More details coming soon!
