Hello singers! We are gearing up for another Sunday with our Worship Choir

On Easter Sunday, April 21, we will lead the congregation in worship. It will be a great morning as we also celebrate those who will be getting baptized.

The response from our time of worship on December 9 was overwhelmingly positive; for those who participated, I hope you’ll join us again, and for those who weren’t able to join us, I hope you will this time around!

Here are all the details:

This is a SHORT TERM commitment. Similar to last fall, we’ll have five Thursday evening rehearsals and one Saturday morning rehearsal. If you have to miss a rehearsal, please don’t let that deter you from participating. That being said, it will be difficult if you have to miss more than one or two rehearsals, so get in touch with me if you’re concerned about attendance.

Also you do not have to be able to read music to participate. The choir will function as a gospel choir with parts being audibly taught, just like last fall. Being able to read music is an added bonus! Being able to match pitch is the only “requirement” and we seemed to do just fine in the fall. 🙂

Please let me know if you plan to sing with us. You can just reply to this email, reply to an email that will come from the church website in a couple of weeks, or call the church and leave me a message.  You can also sign up online or at the Info Table.
