The Salt and Light team, would like to thank all those who served the Lord by working last Saturday cleaning up the new property and home of 51:10 in Nathrop. We would also like to thank the Davis’s small group for providing a great lunch for us all. We had 14 people who worked extremely hard in adverse weather conditions and did a remarkable job getting the property ready for June 3rdwhen kids begin meeting there. Gregg and Elsa Verrier (the owners) couldn’t thank us enough for all the work completed.

The next Woman to Woman Dinner will be on Monday, June 10th at 6pm at ClearView. Join us for a fun night of fellowship and great Italian food!  You can sign up by calling the church office at 395-3120, online or at the Info Center.  Childcare is available upon request.  Bring a friend!

We have over 35 kids earning money to go to camp. You can make a donation directly to the student or pay the church for the money to go into the student’s account. Thanks for supporting our youth!

We’re still looking for volunteers to help out. Sign-up sheet and learn about Ride-the-Rockies on June 10-11th:  https://www.buenavistacolorado.org/events/ride-the-rockies-comes-to-town/   We will provide them a volunteer t-shirt plus a coupon voucher towards a meal at the tent.

Hey you! If you haven’t yet gotten plugged into VBS, there is a place for you! Even if kids aren’t your thing, you can help. Here are our needs:

Be a Crew Leader: Help during the week of VBS by leading a small group of kids each day. It’s a great opportunity to pour into the life of kids and share the gospel. You will never be the same! We have needs for preschool all the way to 5th grade.

Bring Food for our Volunteers: We have snacks for our kids covered, but we love to bless our volunteers who work so hard all week. Would you be willing to bake some muffins, make some breakfast burritos, or bring some cookies or brownies for our hungry leaders? Sign up to help bring food one morning so we can keep our leaders full of energy!

Pray: I would love to have a prayer team who would come to the church each morning of VBS to pray over our kids and leaders. Even if you can’t come every day but you still want to pray, join the team. There is power in prayer, and we need you!

Decorate: We are working hard to get our stage and rooms decorated! If you are crafty, come join us!

Donate: Grab a tag (or two or three) from the board in the foyer and bring back the donated items for our leaders. This helps us hugely with our finances.

If you would like to know more, or if you want to volunteer, contact Julie: 719.221.0353 or julie@clearviewcommunity.org

If you are a crew or station leader for VBS, please plan to attend a short but very important meeting this Sunday, May 19, at 12:30 in the 2nd and 3rd grade classroom. Julie is also offering an optional training meeting on Sunday, June 9, at 12:30, for those who would like to get more information on leading kids effectively.

For those interested in decorating or helping with projects to prepare for VBS, join us on Wednesdays between 12:00 and 4:00 at ClearView. We will have plenty for you to do, and we would love your help! Even if you’re not creative, we can give you a job!

Another way to help with VBS! Please grab a tag or two from the board in the church foyer and return the item on the tag. This helps keep our costs down and offer VBS for free to our community! Thanks so much for your help!
