School is starting and so are our children/youth programs! Join us and be part of teams serving the kids in our communities! Here are some ways you could help:
Nursery: Volunteer once a month (or even every other month) to help in the nursery with infants-2 year olds.
Preschool: Be part of our preschool team! You could help once a month or more often.
K-3rd: Pair up with another teacher to lead a small group of kids all year.
4th-6th: Help develop our new pre-teen program for second service! You’d be part of a team.
Help our amazing food team, providing food for the leaders and kids. You could do this occasionally or every week.
Help us check kids into LiNK each week and be a friendly face to greet them at the door!

The Women’s Bible Study Committee has another exciting announcement for the Fall lineup. Julie Salazar will be leading a Tuesday evening study by noted author, speaker, and teacher Kathleen Nielson entitled Proverbs: The Ways of Wisdom. It will be a workbook small group study starting Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30 pm. Space will be limited. There will be a signup sheet in the foyer or you can call the church office at 395-3120.
Women’s Fall Bible Study
Join us for our next Women’s Bible Study beginning Tuesday, September 10th 9-11 am and Thursday, September 12th 6:30-8 pm! We will be studying God of Covenant by Jen Wilkin. Discover how God orchestrates everything for His glory and the good of His people, and see how the God of Creation and Covenant is the same yesterday, today, and forever. This is a 9 week study beginning in Genesis 12. You can sign up at the Info Center, online or call the church office at 395-3120. Cost for the book is $14 and childcare is provided upon request.
Sisters Under Grace, a women’s bible study group, will be meeting on Friday mornings from 9-11 am at ClearView beginning September 6th. Childcare is provided. Please contact Noelle Hogan for more information at 614-531-0740.

Celebrate Recovery provides a community of support for recovery from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups: tragedy, grief, dysfunctional relationships, codependency, anger, PTSD, abuse, insecurity, eating disorders, overspending, substance abuse, gambling, pornography, and more. Walk-ins welcome. Monday nights from 6:00 – 8:00, Cornerstone Church, 205 S. San Juan. Childcare available.

BV STRONG DINNER HELP NEEDED
We are looking for some volunteers to commit to helping set up as well as stick around afterwards to help tear down and load the tables and chairs onto trucks. Below you will find a link for anyone interested to fill out. We will take as many volunteers as possible, many hands make light work. If you would be willing to announce this or have it posted I would appreciate it.
When: Set up – 1:00pm on Monday 9/23
Tear Down – 7:00pm on Monday 9/23
Where: We will meet at the Splash Pad to start set up
What: Help setting up tables and chairs, assist with staging table bags and other things as needed

Women’s Advance 2019 – Empowered. Friday, September 27that 6 pm and Saturday, September 28that 8:30 am at High Country Church of the Nazarene. $25 Registration. WA19: Empowered is a non-denominational conference held by a community of like-minded women with a desire to see women of God walk in the fullness of their Identity in Christ. Judy Brown has scrap wood and firewood available on their property that they would like to give to a family in need of wood to heat their home. You will need a chainsaw and a way to come out the property to transport the wood. If interested please contact Judy Brown in the evening at 221-4981.
The Arkansas Christian Mission is in need of 10 oz peanut butter tubs, both chunky and smooth, jelly and spaghetti sauce. You can bring your donation and place it in the barrel labeled Arkansas Valley Mission.
