Hey Ladies!

Clearview Women’s Ministry has a Fall Escape day planned for you on October 10th at Silvercliff Ranch.  Outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming in a heated pool, games, a wonderful speaker from Denver, a gym with pool and ping pong tables, maybe some line dancing? Wahoo! Coffee, tea, and a treat made especially for us by the chef in the morning, and a yummy box lunch will be served.

Busy moms can enjoy quiet times alone with the Lord in the beautiful setting at the base of the Chalk Cliffs.  Women can reconnect – what a long time it seems since we have been able to see some of your lovely faces. Laughter, fellowship, food – don’t miss it! The escape starts at 10:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm.  Cost is $20.00 payable online or pre-pay at the church office.

Sign up online by clicking here or call the church office at 719-395-3120. There will also be a signup sheet at the church.  For planning purposes, we urge you to sign up quickly and invite a friend (s).

Correctional Complex Non-Perishable Food Donations

The Buena Vista Correctional Complex is in need of some non-perishable single serve food and drink for the guards and staff that are working extra-long hours due to the latest Covid outbreak.  Rebecca Volz the Volunteer coordinator for the Correctional facility has asked Salt & Light if we as a church might help with this need. They are looking for single serve snacks (small portion bag cookies, chips, popcorn, candy bars etc.) and drinks (water, soda gator aid) that can sustain them during these long hours.  The Salt & Light team would love to get your help to support our Prison ministry.   There is a bin in the church lobby you can drop off your non-perishable foods and drink and we will get supplies to the prison.  Due to COVID restrictions we can only accept pre-packaged items that were bought from the store.  We can not take home made items at this time.  Thank you!

BV HOPE Restoration Bag Packing Event

As promised we will be having a restoration bag packing event on Saturday, October 3rd at Clearview Community Church – 457 Rodeo Rd., BV.  We ask you to drop off items from 10 – 12 am. We will have volunteers inside packing the bags with your donations.

We encourage everyone to work together to get the items for one bag so in the end we don’t have so many duplicates of the same thing.

AND WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS… If you have any questions please call Beth at 719-395-6938.

Thank you for selecting quality items that speak to a survivor’s worth!  Keep in mind that most of them have very little, so we want to make this a special experience for them. Please donate items that you would be proud to give to a loved one.
