On Sunday, December 1st, Come, be part of Salt & Light’s, 8th Annual Blitz! Be part of the Clearview family descending on City Market to purchase much needed grocery items for the Arkansas Valley Mission to be distributed to those in need during the winter months. Come, share in the excitement of shopping together for the blessing of others. A shopping list will be available and you may shop at City Market any time after 8:00am, between services, or after both Sunday services. We need to end purchases by 1:00. We will have Christmas Carolers to put you in the spirit and once again our Volunteer Fire department will be there with their Fire Engine that we will load all the food into and take to the Ark Valley Mission.  Don’t miss out on the fun and the blessing!

Calling All Bakers! Our Salt & Light team is inviting you to participate in our 2nd annual BV Christmas Thank You. We are looking for people to bake Christmas goodies to be distributed to town agencies as a “Thank You” from Clearview for their service to our town. Last year your generosity resulted in 3625 baked goods being distributed to 17 agencies in BV.

You can bake as a small group activity, or invite a few friends or neighbors to bake with you as an outreach, a way for them to participate too.

Would you please take a picture of your baking process and finished product and include yourself/your group in the photo and email them to Tanner Brasser, our picture historian, at: tanner.brasser@gmail.com

Please tally and mark the # of items you bake in each container you bring so we can keep count. Please bring your goodies in containers you don’t need returned. This makes distributing the right amount of Christmas goodies to each agency much easier. Thank you!

The Christmas baked goods will be collected in the church kitchen beginning on Monday, December 2nd through Thursday the 12th. We will be delivering the baked goods as we have enough to send out to each agency with our final deliveries being done on Friday Dec. 12th.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact; Cindy Blount @ 401 323-2388
