Women’s Bible Study – Advent 2021

Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Our Savior declared Himself to be the Light of the World. But this story of light piercing through the darkness didn’t begin with the birth of a baby boy under a shining star in the city of Bethlehem. From creation to the incarnation to the coming eternal city, Scripture speaks of Jesus’s life-giving presence and light in a dark world.

This Advent season our women’s Bible study group will be reading through The Everlasting Light, a five week scripture reading plan that traces this theme throughout the Bible.  Scripture readings begin Sunday, November 28th.  This reading plan is free and can be accessed at shereadstruth.com (on the 28th) or you can pick up a paper copy in the church foyer (available November 21st).  If you prefer to purchase a workbook you may do so here, although it is not required.

We will meet at the church for worship, scripture discussion, and fellowship on December 7th, 14th, and 21st from 9-11am.  Childcare is available upon request.  Please contact Trinda Windle at (303) 913-4748 or trinda.windle@gmail.comwith questions.
