EVENTS AROUND CLEARVIEW:
The memorial service for Vern Abbott will take place at ClearView on Saturday, March 31 at 10:30 a.m.
Attention Ladies: We will not have a Woman to Woman Dinner in March due to Spring Break. We will plan to see you in April for a big SPRING FLING!
Check the Info Center this Sunday for your copy of the new Church Directory! We know some of you are still waiting . . . we will continue to print about 50 copies each week until everyone who wants one has received one. That’s about all our printer can handle each week.
From the Women’s Bible Study Committee:
We are pleased to announce the next offering will be Beth Moore’s lecture study on the Holy Spirit entitled Breath – The Life of God In Us (not to be confused with Breathe, a recently completed study by Priscilla Shirer). Breath is a six-week experience that will reflect on the person, the work and the power of the Holy Spirit. It will be a respite from workbook study as it is a lecture series only, meaning we will view a DVD, then break into small groups for a short, guided discussion time. The first session will begin Tuesday, April 3 ,at 9:00 a.m. at Clearview. Please sign up in the foyer, or visit this link: https://clearviewcommunity.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/69/responses/new. If there is enough interest in an evening session, we will announce it at a later date. There is no charge for the sessions.
The church office will be CLOSED ON FRIDAYS during the month of March. Please plan accordingly!
NO LiNK or Varsity over Spring Break!
EASTER WEEK HAPPENINGS:
Friday, March 30:
Good Friday Service @ 6:00 pm. Nursery provided for little ones.
Sunday, April 1:
Resurrection Walk @ 7:00 am. Purpose- Just as Christ was bodily resurrected, we want to provide a bodily experience to people. We pray that walking, seeing, hearing and following the footsteps of Jesus will provide a transforming experience; that Jesus will come alive in the hearts of all who participate. The Experience – Our journey will begin at the small picnic shelter overlooking the Arkansas River footbridge (adjacent to the boathouse). We will cross the river and walk about a quarter mile along the trail to the “tomb site”. On this journey and at this site you will experience a taste of the awe of resurrection morning and the Risen Christ!
Easter Services @ 9:00 & 10:45. We will have Greenhouse (ages 0-5th grade) for both services.
It’s not too late to sign up for baptisms on Easter Sunday! If you would like to be baptized, please call the church office at 719.395.3120 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. There is also a sign up sheet at the Info Center in the foyer.
