WOMEN’S 2022 SUMMER BIBLE STUDY
How can we find a more transparent, resilient, and fearless life of faith? In the Psalms we discover we are never alone in our joys, sorrows, angers, doubts, praises, or thanksgivings. We learn about prayer and poetry, honesty and community, justice and enemies, life and death, nations and creation. The book Open and Unafraid by David Taylor shows us how to read the Psalms in a fresh, life-giving way.
Summer is a good time to take a breath and enjoy this book study with no homework. Join us for our summer Women’s Book Study starting June 28, the Tuesday after VBS. It will be a six week “drop in when you can, bring guests when you want” time together. Our very own Mitzi Norton, the CV Director of Spiritual and Community Formation will be our leader. This time of teaching, fellowship, and sharing life together is not to be missed. We will meet from 9:00 – 11:00 am. Coffee and tea will be available. Childcare will be provided if you notify us at time of sign up.
Your book can be ordered through Amazon, christianbook.com, Barnes & Noble, and Thrift Books. If you are unable to order your own book, call Bobbi at 719-966-2450. Sign up sheets are in the foyer or you can sign up online here or call the church office at 719-395-3120.
