Engage – What is the most “Spirit-filled” church you have ever been a part of, and what made it Spirit filled? 

Scripture: Mark 10:46-52, John 7:37-39, 2 Cor 3:18, Acts 2:40-47
Q-Why do you believe that Jesus healed Bartimaeus of his blindness? 
Q-In regards to healing today, which viewpoint do you believe represents Scriptural teaching?
1-God’s done with healing today. It was only for the age of the apostle’s
2-God heals today in the same fashion He did in the NT. Our faith is His command!
3-God heals today, faith is needed, but ultimately it must be His will to do so. 
Q-Do you hold a view of healing Pastor Tom didn’t include in his sermon. 
Q-God also opened Bartimaeus’ spiritual eyes, why did Pastor Tom believe this was a greater miracle? Do you agree? 
Q-Why is transformation of the soul into Christlikeness a slow and deep miracle? 
Q-Do we participate in transformation, if so how? 
Q-Why was it necessary for Jesus to return to heaven after He accomplished redemption and send the Spirit on the day of Pentecost? 
Q-Name some of the many ways the Spirit ministers to and through God’s people? 
Q-Can Satan counterfeit miracles and healings and spiritual gifts, how do we discern the difference between what is from God and what is from below? 
Q-Explain when you have sensed the Spirit working through
