DAY 23: OUR NATIONS: RACIAL TENSIONS
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”—Galatians 3:26
Pray today for justice and healing of our land and for voices to be heard about racial and economic inequalities in our country. Pray for demonstrations to be peaceful as this issue has come to the forefront of our nation’s attention. Pray for the Lord to examine our own hearts for any insensitivity or lack of understanding because our experience has not been the experience of others. Pray for Christian leaders who are standing on the testimony that we are all created in the image of God and therefore each life matters and has purpose and value. And pray for lasting reconciliation between the white, black, brown, native American, and other communities because we are all one through the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
