1. In the past, how have you interacted with God’s will? Have you found that you struggle to reconcile the truth of God’s sovereignty with the reality of your responsibility in human decisions?
2. Share with the group (or write down) some examples where you’ve needed to make a decision with a desire to seek the Lord’s will, but struggled to know how to do that.
3. What does your personal devotional life look like? Are there any areas that are deficient where you need to build better habits? Bible reading, prayer, etc.?
4. Has God ever used people in the church to direct and guide you, help you see your blind spots, etc.? Share with the group (or write it down). It not, what are ways you can bolster your connection to the church family?
