Connect: When was the first time you heard the Lord clearly? Where are you in the storm right now?

Engage: Israel had fallen asleep – as the they prospered, the Declaration of being the people of God but were not living as the people of God. How do you see that today in our own communities or in your own life? Jonah 1:1-9

Where do we see hiddenness in the community of God?
How we as the church fallen asleep spiritually? Where have you fallen asleep to some things?
Jonah said he feared the Lord, but his actions showed that he did not fear God but ran from God.
Where have you been hypocritical at times in your life?
Where have you grown apathetic to the Lord ?
What causes us/ you to fall asleep?
However, God pursued Jonah because of His fierce love for Jonah. Do you believe that God has fierce Love for you?

How does your profession of faith match the life you are living?
Do you need to come clean about some things in your life with your small group or some close friends?
What does it look like to surrender to the Lord for you?
