Connect: Where have you traditionally found your joy? Where are you finding joy now? Where have you grumbled? – Have you been around people have made you grumble against something- How did that affect you?
Engage: “More joy and gratitude will not come from more things but from more awareness of God’s presence and God’s Goodness” – Pastor Zach – Where have you seen this in your life

Where have you been a beneficiary? What was that like for you?

Eph. 1:3, 13, 15-16 What do you think these verses mean to you? Where have you seen contagious thanksgiving for gifts given?

Envy- Resenting God’s goodness in other people’s lives

Ignoring – Ignoring God’s goodness in my own life. – Prov. 14:30
a. Where do you envy? What life do you wish you were living ? What things cause you to stumble in this area?
Couple of things you can do –
1. Celebrate God’s goodness in my life and the life of others- What does that look like for you? Romans 12:15
2. There is no win in Comparison- Titus 3:3-5 NLT What does this mean to you?
Apply: Where do I need to grow considering this message? Is there something that Lord wants you to apply in light of this message?
